A video that works on YouTube
rarely works unchanged on Instagram

Editing is where pacing, captions, music, and format decisions turn footage into something built for where it's actually going to run.

What this covers

The post-production layer — pacing, cuts, colour, sound, and platform-correct exports, from footage we shot or footage you already have.

Platform-first editing

A cut built for Reels looks different from one built for YouTube — format decisions are made per destination, not as an afterthought.

Sound design included

Pacing-matched music and clean audio, not just visual cuts.

Structured revisions

Two rounds as standard, so feedback has a clear, fast path back into the edit.

In Depth

What actually happens between raw footage and a finished video

The post-production side, and specifically why the same cut rarely works unchanged across every platform.

What this actually involves

This is the cutting, pacing, colour, sound, and export layer — taking footage we shot, or footage already provided, and turning it into platform-ready video. That includes captions and subtitles as standard for social formats, consistent colour grading across a video, and music and sound design mixed to match the pacing rather than dropped in as an afterthought. Crucially, this includes producing genuinely different cuts for genuinely different destinations — a Reels edit, a YouTube edit, and an ad-format edit are rarely the same cut resized.

How we approach it, step by step

Editing starts with reviewing all the available footage and selecting what actually earns a place in the edit — most raw footage doesn't make the final cut, and that's normal. From there, the story and pacing structure gets decided — the order and rhythm that actually holds someone's attention on that specific platform. The edit and colour grade happen next, followed by sound design and music matched to the pacing. Every video goes through two structured revision rounds before final delivery, exported specifically for wherever it's going — vertical and captioned for Reels, standard widescreen for YouTube, and so on.

What this means for your business

A video that performs well on YouTube frequently underperforms when reposted unchanged to Instagram, because pacing, captions, and framing expectations differ by platform. Treating each destination as its own edit, rather than one video resized everywhere, is specifically what closes that gap — and it applies whether the footage came from our own Videography team or was provided directly.
